STEVE WHITEHOUSE
FRIARSTAFF (UK)
I was born in
the heart of the black country where the Staffordshire Bull
Terrier was
developed.
I grow up
surrounded by Stafford’s -all shapes and sizes.
Over the years I
have been lucky enough to have owned some really good quality
dogs and bitches, all gaining top honours CC's, Resrve CC's,
Irish KC Green stars, big awards etc all under the Friarstaff
affix.
I have produced
Friarstaff Mike (Danish Champion and international champion)
also the now retired Mascot of the Staffordshire Regiment,
Friarstaff Watchman IV, these are just to name a few.
I am currently
in partnership with Ch Bourtie Wot a Steal JW.
Over the last 16
years I have had the privilege to judge well over a thousand
stafford's.
My Most recent
appointments were judging at The Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club
CH show 2008 with and entry of 150 dogs and at Darlington CH
show 2009 with an entry of 146 dogs & bitches.
I do like to
judge to breed standard and I do not have any preference on
colour.
I would like to
take this opportunity to thank all who have been involved in
bringing me to SA. I consider this to be a great achievement in
my judging career.
It is a dream
come true to judge the breed I love in a country like SA.
I will judge to
the best of my ability without bias or prejudice.

The
Staffordshire Bull Terrier is one of only two dogs with the words "affectionate,
especially with children" written in its breed standard, and the ONLY
dog with the words "TOTALLY RELIABLE" in its breed standard...
