THE PRETORIA STAFFORDSHIRE BULL

 TERRIER CLUB 25th ANNUAL CHAMPIONSHIP

 SHOW 10th MAY 2009

Judge Mr.J Byrnes Lackyle Stafford's (Irl)

I would like to thank the committee of the above club for inviting me to judge their show.  It was an honour and pleasure to do so.

I must thank my ring steward who done a superb job on the day and kept everything running smoothly, also the exhibitors who gave me the privilege of judging their dogs and took my decision so sportingly.  The overall atmosphere was very friendly and the courtesy showed towards me by all was a pleasure, thank you.

A big Thank you to all for making us feel so welcome especially Huntly and Desera for looking after Imelda & myself before the show and showing us the sights of Pretoria.  Also Kobus and Ilse for the super time we had with them in Kruger National Park.  Last but not least thank you also to Louis Coetsee and Adele Smith  for their hospitality.  Thank you for the gift, which was presented to me after the show it, was very much appreciated. As for the exhibits on the day the quality was quite good but some were carrying a lot too much weight and hence paid the price.  Those who won top honours were superbly fit and met the breed standard and would hold their own in any country.
